Louisa Braun (she/her) is a senior at Montpelier High School. She loves working with kids, and currently assists Primary Ballet and Jr. Hip-Hop 1-2. She has been dancing at CD&FS for ten years, and enjoys getting to explore different styles of dance with Teen Jazz. “I’m excited to take what I’ve learned at CD&FS with me as I explore the broader world of dance, but I know I’m going to miss dancing with Teen Jazz.”
Nora Chase Tatko (she/her) is a junior at Montpelier High School and this is her third year as a Teen Jazz member. She began dancing when she was three years old at Moving Light Studio and has been dancing at Contemporary Dance and Fitness Studio since she was ten years old. Her favorite style of dance will forever be Ballet, but she loves Modern, Jazz, and Pointe as well. She has been assisting ballet classes at the studio for many years, and this year is co-teaching Open Level Ballet with Isadora Snapp in addition to assisting Ballet 2. She loves Teen Jazz and is excited for the performance possibilities this year has to offer!
Laurie-Anne Fournier (she/her) is a sophomore at Montpelier High School. This is her fifth year dancing at CD&FS, and her second year as a member of Teen Jazz. Her favorite styles of dance are currently ballet and jazz. She also loves assisting Pre-Primary ballet. This year she is excited to continue exploring different styles of dance with Teen Jazz.
Sophie Gustafson (she/her) is currently a Junior at Montpelier High School. She has been dancing ad CD&FS for 9 years and this is her 3rd year in Teen Jazz. "I have taken many styles of dancer over the years but my favorites as of now are HipHop and Ballet. I have always loved music and dance has been a huge part of my musical identity throughout my life. I Love CD&FS and Teen Jazz and can't wait to continue dancing here."
Anna Luhr (she/her) is a senior at Montpelier High School. This is her fourth year as a member of Teen Jazz. She’s been dancing at CD&FS since she was three years old. “My favorite styles to dance are Jazz, Ballet, and Pointe, though I have taken many other styles such as, Hip-Hop, Tap, Musical Theater, Modern, and more. Growing up at CD&FS has taught me so much, and I am so incredibly grateful for my experience here. I’ve learned so much about myself and the world and it feels like a second home. I am excited to be going to Fordham University Lincoln Center in Manhattan next year. I will hopefully continue dancing in my free time.”
Josephine Mikus (she/her) is a freshman at U-32 Middle and High School. This is her eighth year with Contemporary Dance and Fitness Studio, and her first in Teen Jazz. "My favorite genre of dance is definitely breaking, but being in Teen Jazz has opened up a lot more opportunities to try out new things- I've only taken classes for ballet and breaking, so it's great to broaden my horizons and experiment a little!" She's super excited to keep with the company and just be "along for the ride."
Juliet Rapaport (she/her) is a Senior at Montpelier High School. This is her fourth year as a member of Teen Jazz. "My favorite styles of dance are hip hop and jazz, I enjoy my ballet and modern classes as well. After being in Teen Jazz for four years I have learned about the balance between the styles that Teen Jazz has to offer, and the importance of joy to drive my dancing. This is something I greatly appreciate."
Mia Reynolds
Nitya Sharma (she/her) is a Senior at Montpelier High School. She has been dancing at CD&FS for 12 years where she has taken a variety of styles, including Ballet, Hip-Hop, Modern, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary Ballet. Nitya has also been assisting Jr. Jazz 1-2 for the past four years. She is thrilled to be finishing her final year of dancing at the studio with this year's members!
Elizabeth (Lizzy) Wilson (she/her) is currently a Senior at U-32 High School. She has been dancing at CD&FS since 2nd grade, and this is her 4th year in Teen Jazz. "During my time at CD&FS I have taken hip hop, jazz, ballet, contemporary ballet, pointe, modern, fusion, and tap. This year I am taking ballet, hip hop, jazz, and Teen Jazz. I also assist Jr. Tap and Jazz! I definitely am going to miss the Teen Jazz community next year!"
