Teen Jazz Company Co-Directors
Rosemary Leach (she/her) has been involved with CD&FS for as long as she can remember. She trained with Lorraine Neal throughout the 1980’s and was a member of the original Teen Jazz. After studying dance at Hampshire College and the Five College Consortium, she continued to center her life around dance while fulfilling other life interests such as love, travel and family.
She performed and taught dance in California, Arizona, Maine and Montana before settling back down in 2001 to raise a family in central Vermont. CD&FS is again her dance home, providing her the opportunity for creative, joyful, community connection— for that she is infinitely grateful. |
Isadora Snapp (she/her) has been teaching, performing, and creating work in Central Vermont since 2010. Based out of Randolph, she currently only teaches classes at Contemporary Dance and Fitness Studio but has taught at several other Vermont studios over the years. Those studios include Dance Works Academy, Ballet Wolcott, Ballet Vermont, Lines VT, and Stowe Dance Academy.
For the past several years, Isadora's main focus as a teacher has been to build a strong and supportive Ballet program at CD&FS. She is passionate about bringing the artistry and discipline of classical ballet to non-ballet focused dancers. She also teaches contemporary ballet, modern, and jazz. In addition to teaching, Isadora is a choreographer and performer and has performed at venues throughout the state. She continues to develop her own choreographic through partnerships with other local artists, presenting several evening-length dance works as well as shorter |
pieces. These have included: With Women, DUST, Catching a Glimpse, and Thursdays from 7:00-9:00. Most recently she has worked with the group LUNCH. Isadora has been a member of the Vermont Dance Alliance since its inception in 2016. You can view her VDA profile here and her personal website here.
